There are many tips and housewife tricks about tulip care; how to avoid drooping stems, how to get the best cut surface and where the bouquet should stand in the room to last the longest. Once the tulips start to droop or lose their leaves, they are thrown away or exchanged for a new bouquet.

Puddle flower tray wants to honor all phases of the tulip. As the stems grow or begins to fade, the disk reflects the tulip flower from below, and when the leaves fall off, they are caught by the mirror plate and continue to be part of the bouquet.

Puddle became one of ten finalists in the "Tulip" competition organized in the spring of 2021 by Straight Design Studio, Klong and Blomsterfrämjandet. The starting point is the product Orb produced by Klong, and the brief was to create an addition to the existing product base.
