Set design for Vinterviken Sunset Sessions. A music festival in the beautiful landscape of Vinterviken Stockholm.

One of the key aspects of the project, besides making a backdrop for the stage, was to create cohesion in the open garden. By utilizing existing buildings and materials, we frame the open space and create rooms within the space. Since the festival offers food and drinks seating arrangements and queues leading to the bars needed to be carefully planned.

The color choices are based on the festival's poster. As many events take place in this area we felt it was important for the festival to follow a common thread representing the Vinterviken Sunset Sessions. The surroundings and the history of the old dynamite factory inspired the material choices and shapes. Furthermore we got inspired by the festival itself - it is truly a music lovers festival.

Despite having a small budget, the goal was to work as sustainably as possible - all in line with the already existing eco-friendly Vinterviken Café. The materials can be easily reused or recycled.
