A self-examining work with the aim of questioning my own textile consumption; what responsibility do I have and what responsibility do I take for my clothes to have a continued life after I’ve used them?

By making a simple weaving frame in waste wood from the school workshop, and by cutting and tearing my old garments, I have tried to reflect on my textile consumption by using a historically well-used method in Sweden to reuse used and worn out textiles - a "trasmatta". But aesthetically my carpet is different from the rag rugs we are used to seeing. Made up of polyester blends and bright colors it is presented with the textile toes visible.
